Appeals court: Georgia law enforcement may verify immigration status under 2011 law

ATLANTA (Associated Press) --
A federal appeals court has ruled that Georgia law enforcement can check on the immigration status of criminal suspects who fail to produce proper identification.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Monday that a hold blocking that section of the state's 2011 immigration law should be lifted.

Your source is a partisan Arizona rag dedicated to uphold their ridiculous laws and poor ole' mistreated Sheriff Joe Arpiao, and their conclusion is shit on top of shit. No truth in any of it. Immigrants in Georgia can breath more freely now. They are no longer expected to prove anything except their innocence if charged with a crime. Their immigration status remains a federal issue.

Obviously you didn't read the article. The US Court ruling addressed Alabama and Georgia in their ruling. Read it and weep, dumbass.

Actually I understand all this, Zappa. When I was a kid most in the south couldn't figure out who they were most afraid of. The Negroes or the Italians and in many cases the Jews. It was hard growing up in that shit hole part of the nation.

Laugh all you like, dumbass. How do you suppose they are going to "check immigration status" on anyone that doesn't have or have to show an ID? I would just tell them my name is USLoserman911 and walk off. Unless the officer has other business with me I would certainly be within my rights to do so. And the courts have already well warned the law enforcement officials will be closely monitored for any harassing behavior towards anyone they may deem a suspected immigrant. The courts will not tolerate it. THIS IS AMERICA, BY DAMMIT.
