Children are innocent and malleable. We, as a group, are responsible for them not being taught fables. We, as a group, will - in the future - have to face and be responsible for millions of properly uneducated children who weren't taught reading, writing, and math, but who's parents insisted upon teaching them the world is 6000 years old.

If more of today's parents took an active role in the education of children we wouldn't be having the education crisis we are today.

I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand. Perhaps it's your own stubbornness and/or ignorance but this isn't about that.

It's about directing money allocated for public schools to pay to educate our children in substandard, for-profit religious institutions. When it's our tax money being used, then we do have every right to question the education of those children.

YES, I want people's right to religious expression protected. I want YOU to leave Christians to hell alone, and let them teach their children as they see fit. And I want you to do the same for Muslims, Jews, Wiccans, and every goddamn body else, because you really have no business sticking your nose in it.

Again, I don't favor religious dogma being taught in classrooms. I don't see the problem with teaching that science is inconclusive on origin of life, and there are various theories about it. That is not religious indoctrination, that is not teaching crazy wacko religious shit, that is just stating a fact of life that every student should know, if properly educated. Whether you teach them this in the class or not, they are going to know that some people believe different things on origin, you aren't shielding them from this information by not teaching it.

I read every word you posted, I didn't go to your links because they are mostly left-wing propaganda outlets which don't tell the truth. I don't care what people in Scotland think of us. It's none of your fucking business how Christians educate their children. Once money is issued as a voucher, it doesn't matter where the individual spends it or what religious school it goes to, it is no longer "public" money, it stopped being "public" money the moment you made it an "individual voucher." If some single mother gets a $1,500 check from the IRS, from claiming EIC, do we get to determine where she spends the money? What if she takes the $1,500 refund, and gives it to her Church? Isn't THAT taxpayer money going to fund religion? What about those on welfare or disability... do they get to donate to their churches? How about employees of the government? Aren't we giving them taxpayer money? Can they not donate to a church?

Yes, you have been pwned and OWNED up one side and down the other, and all you can respond with is more left-wing KOOK propaganda that isn't worth reading. I don't do the cite thing because it's a pointless exercise in futility. I would be just as well off to get up from my computer, go to a wall, and start banging my head against it. We've seen the trick over and over... you will ridicule and mock whatever "cite" is presented, and the debate becomes about the validity of the "cite" or who's behind it, and not the topic of conversation. Meanwhile, you are free to throw out whatever propaganda sites you please, and proclaim them to be The Gospel Truth.

I don't play the cite game. The internet has billions of websites, and the vast majority are not completely accurate and/or impartial. This isn't a contest to see who can "Cite" the most, it is a debate of an issue or topic, where we use this thing we call "our minds" to convey these things we call "thoughts" to each other. If you think you have won a debate in the arena of ideas because you were able to find a website that agrees with your argument, you are a fucking moron. I can find a website to agree with almost any nutbag thing you can imagine, they are out there, believe me.

Instead of playing the cite game, I play the... look it up and research for yourself game. If you can't compete with me, it's alright, I don't expect much competition.

I always tell people to research it for themselves, if I were wanting people to just take my word for it, I'd say... just take my word, don't bother looking elsewhere, wouldn't I? And I if I only wanted people to hear one side of an argument, I could go out there and find a website which only presented one side, and I could do like you and the liberals, and post that as if there were not anything else on the internet to consider, but again, I don't do this. Again, I always invite people to go do the research themselves, I don't ever tell anyone to take my word for things. I don't click on links to propaganda outlets, if you can't present something from a legitimate news source, I am not interested, it has no place in debate.
