King's fiancée, Cynthia Kelley, told friends King spent the bulk of Saturday drinking and "smoked marijuana at some point," before she went to went to bed at 2:00 a.m. The cause of death is unknown, but police are investigating it as a drowning. Racist bravs made the claim that he "probably" didn't have a job. Because he was black, I suppose.

The onus is on him. King was on TV where they documented at length his work for the city, including interviews w/ his coworkers. I'm not going to go scouring the web for a "Rodney the public sanitation worker" link to counter some idiot racist. Sorry 'bout that.

It doesn't make any difference. The guys who beat up Denny were thugs & criminals. There is no comparison to King getting beaten by cops.

He was a thug and a wife beater, a drunk and a druggier.......and only an ass like you would admire him....

and you're gonna claim he was a garbage man after collecting almost 4 million dollars.....?

He was, bravs. He blew the cash; he was no model citizen. But he did try for healing at a time when racist morons like you were trying to rule the day.

He was working when he went into rehab. He was trying to get his life back together.

For an old, hateful man like you, it's much too late for that.
