Cory Booker's Apostasy

I didn't like it, either. I am of the opinion that only money from actual voters should be accepted, but I am funny that way. Corporation have taken control of our elections it is wrong and until the peope are pissed enough, it won't change.

It has become so corrupt!

Booker was so excited about being on Meet the Press that he didn't think of how this would look. Today's politicians have to think before they speak because someone will find a way to make you pay for it.

I guess Bijou and I are just old school.

Not old school, just partisan hacks......you want him to think before he speaks ?....why, so he tells lies instead of how he feels about an issue.....
He should not tell the truth because someone will 'make him pay for it' ?......

Thats not old school, that freakin' stupid talk.....

Odd... I thought you were interested in knowing the difference between the two. I thus explained it. Do you find fault with anything I stated?

I already know the difference. That's why I cited that there IS a difference. I don't need your version of an explanation but thanks anyway. Good typing practice for you. :)

I'm well aware of who Soros is, his ideals, philanthropy, and how those ideals are at complete odds with everything Bain Capital does and represents. Obviously you're not capable of recognizing these differences.

Perhaps you could enlighten me on 'everything Bain Capital does and represents'?

Destroys livelihoods. Buys businesses and 'restructures' by eliminating jobs.

That's it in a nutshell. Use your google if you want details.

All bullshit, as SF already pointed out. It seems you're not really interested in knowing the truth. How sad.

What SF 'pointed out' doesn't equate to the facts on the ground. How sad that SF's opinion is the beginning and end to the 'enlightenment' you seek.

As SF said, some investments work, others don't. Bain has a good track record of making good investments, e.g. Staples and Sports Authority, which in turn creates thousands of jobs.

Soros, on the other hand, made his fortune by fucking over the poor and middle class.

Does that make sense to you now?

Yes, it makes complete sense that you're a parrot for the Right. Thanks for playing. :)

What evidence do you have that Soros has created jobs? While we have evidence that a successful company did, you seem a bit sparse in comparative knowledge of the person whom you are partisanly defending.

You're projecting. And it is obvious that you have little concern for knowing the truth. You defended Soros who fucked the poor, and slammed Bain which created thousands of jobs. Your issue, not mine.

I never said Soros created jobs. I said there's a difference between the interests and bidding sought by campaigns and candidates supported by the likes of Bain capital compared to those supported by Soros. The reasons are obvious and have been stated, and you're free to conclude my knowledge to be 'sparse' if you so choose. I don't feel the least bit compelled to go on a goose hunt in a futile attempt to change the minds of any idiot who defends a company like Bain Capital. If my refusal to do so is what defines my credibility to you and others, so be it.

Right. Romney needs staunch defenders like you. Good luck in November. :)

We have shown that many companies would be out of business without Bain. You just repeat nonsense that was fed to you by a commercial. That's weak.

No I don't. You speculate with zero knowledge about how my opinion of Bain was informed. Yours was informed by the right-wing talking points handed out by Fox every day. See? I can do it, too.

You've confused Bain with Dick Cheney...

imo, too many venture capitalists are vulture capitalists that do nothing but loot the value of existing companies in the name of 'saving' them

is it any wonder that the u s of a has a shrinking middle class

is it not possible for us companies to compete with foreign businesses without striping workers of their benefits and decent wages

still, much of the blame does reside on us, or as has been said, 'we have met the enemy and he is us'
