The protests are the public face of our children's outrage, born of fear. As a parent myself, my own fear and outrage -- along with that of millions of other parents -- has been ignored and denigrated at the Holy Altar of the Sacred Second Amendment. It's taken the kids to get the attention of the media. These walkouts and protests get the media's attention, which is awesome, but they don't serve to do much else, except for one thing: They inspire kids to get registered to vote. As our RWNJs have fearfully pointed out -- voter registration groups are on hand to do just that. We (me and a couple of friends) did the same thing during the Occupy protests in 2011.
and it will eventually be shown that you parents were nothing but cowards and taught your kids to be cowards, afraid that they are defenseless and are incapable of defending themselves because guns are bad. they will die, you will lose, and freedom will win.
