Wrong. It never peaked under either Obama or Trump. It has been going down all that time. Comparing one fiat currency against another is pointless. That is not a value of a currency. All fiat currencies are in the same boat. They are all inflating, just at different rates. The value of a currency is what it can buy. One quite sensible standard is how much gold you can buy with it. Another is against a basket of commodities. All fiat currencies are going down against either standard.
