Oh looky another Wikipedia trained virologist here on JPP to educate the masses. There was much China could have done. First of all there is evidence that they knew about the virus in November. A little heads up would have been nice. Second they could shut down those fucking wet markets where much of this is transmitted.

While I think it is obviously a bad idea, conceived by ppl whose lives, I guess, have evolved around "punishment" & being punished, whatever we do, punish/not punish our focus should be on what is in our best LONG TERM INTERESTS.. By our I mean the ppl, & I explicitly do not mean wallstreet or trumps ego...

South Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand, Germany, Japan.... I could go on and on about the countries that did a better job of containing this. New Zealand is saying that it might be able to become virus free soon.

trump had a rally on March 2nd, and a fundraiser on March 7th. he now denies he did either, but they are both recorded as they happened.

Pelosi "celebrated" the LA Marathon? I can find no evidence of this. I am pretty sure that she was hundreds of miles to the north when the marathon was run.
