I am wondering if the number of Active Cases here is inflated, and will never come down to a very low level. How are Active Cases calculated? They take the number of people who have tested positive and subtract the number who have subsequently tested negative. Naturally, the deaths are also subtracted. But what if some who tested positive never go back and get tested to ensure they are negative? That would leave the number of Active Cases artificially higher than it actually is. Just a thought. Don't know.

The next one to crack is 25 million active cases. We want to get below 25 million Active Cases.

If the pandemic continues to recede at this rate, we should drop below 25 million active cases this week.

This is kind of huge for the USA. We no longer lead the world in New Cases. (Thank you President Biden)

We still lead in Active Cases, but if we continue clearing them; and hold New Cases down, the light at the end of the tunnel will grow brighter day by day.
