An argument like that reminds me of that game "Twister," where all sorts of strange positions must be assumed. And then a mere chuckle brings about a complete collapse. You're certainly entitled to what ever view you wish to make. I am so sadly confident that the pandemic is real I am not even going to bother to try to dispute it. There's no point. It is very tragically real. Forget the death certs. Just look at the numbers. We've got at least a half million extra deaths in the last 12 months than in recent years. Probably a lot more which were never documented as pandemic deaths. If they didn't die from the pandemic, why so many more deaths this year?

We would be doing far better if everyone complied with the government guidelines, rules, laws and recommendations for dealing with coronavirus.

It's these people who think they know better, and refuse to believe the news, that are making it so bad.

They may not be afraid, may not have any symptoms, but most transmissions occur because of people who don't even know they have it and unwittingly spread it around.

Some of these people are undoubtedly responsible for infecting their parents, relatives, and others who have died from it.

Very reckless. Very irresponsible.

And they also unwittingly extend the pandemic, make it last longer.

They just want to pretend there is no pandemic, but the one thing they want, no pandemic, will be further away and take longer to realize because they won't comply.

PBS Newshour says the decline has slowed down, but the numbers here show them still dropping.

I wish we could just keep on doing what we are doing, or increase the measures. That would ensure we get control of this ASAP.

It would appear extremely foolish to favor the economy over lives.

So good to see!

But of course, as can also be clearly seen, we still have far more cases than we did when restrictions were first put into place.

Obviously, and graphically, this is no time to be opening up.

I don't get it.

We have it good in this country.

We also have socialism, and we benefit from science.

Why the right fights these things is a mystery.

Their argument seems to be with reality, not the left.

The left is simply caught up in their denial of reality because the left fully accepts facts.

The right is angry at the left because the left reminds the right of the reality they are trying so hard to deny.
