It sure is good to see these declining numbers.
It leads to the thinking that we can stop all the measures which have begun to get the pandemic under control.
But that is wishful thinking.
The last thing we want to do is drop our efforts at combating this virus.
We are still in a war between humans and a bug.
Humans have begun to get some traction with our vaccines, but the bug has modified itself into new variants, searching for a way to disable our vaccine effectiveness.
We must press on and keep up the good fight.
Now is no time to relax. The job is not done and our progress can be easily undone.
We must se this through to the end.
Stay the course.

The number of daily new cases is not dropping as quickly as it was. It is starting to level out. That's bad. The variants are coming.
