Diversity Makes Greatness
Hello Poor Richard Saunders,
Good question. I have often wondered the same thing. Are the screeners calling these people back to ask them if they recovered? Or would it require a second test (or several) which come up negative... I have not been able to find out.
Ultimately we will learn, if the Active Cases eventually goes to zero.
We've had a hint. There was a point where the number of Active Cases dropped for a few days. That shows that the figure should indicate a peak at some point.
I have to wonder about case resolution numbers -
On April 11 we had 539,942 active cases.
On May 20, we have only 458,121 cases that have had outcomes.
Are people that get tested, stay home and get better on their own being counted in the outcomes? Nothing seems to suggest that people are sick for over a month. I can buy 2 week time frames from original positive test to being virus free. We may see an adjustment of the active cases at some point because of this.
