Now on the face of it, crime stats are devastating ... but if one just looks a little further, like the comparing the RAW NUMBERS of crimes to the population, one gets a different perspective. Like looking at the raw numbers of the actual crimes the stats are based on, then the actual census number of the population being looked at. When this is done, one is actually looking at less than a fraction of 1% of the population, and the crimes similar.
