Why Liberals Play the Race Card

When this photo was taken Wallace had resigned from the Democratic party and became a Dixiecrat, claiming that the Democratic party had left him behind.

LMAO... Then after he lost his presidential bid as and independent, he went back to being A DEMOCRAT where he remained a loyal member of the party until the day he died. Let's not leave out THE REST OF THE STORY there, bud!

He also changed his positions on seggregation and race relations when he returned to the Democratic party!

I actually knew Governor Wallace fairly well. I slept in the Governors mansion as an infant and visited often as a child. I also visited his home many times as an adult. He died four years after I graduated Auburn University. The last time I spoke with him was June of 1994 just after my graduation, he had my father and I over for dinner to express condolences on my grandfathers death and to congradulate me for Graduating.

Yes, you are correct... of course, segregation had been defeated and the CRA passed into law... but-- you are correct, the Democrats welcomed him back with open arms on nothing more than his word that he had changed. The same is true with Robert Byrd as well. I just wonder, if verbal affirmation worked for them, after supporting such deplorable racism and racist policy, why the hell doesn't it work for me, a poster who has never uttered a racist thought on here? Why doesn't it work for the millions of southerners who's ancestors fought and died in the War Between the States? Why is it, in THOSE examples, it doesn't matter what the person says, all that matters is who they are associated with from the past, by implication?

Of course, those are rhetorical questions, we know the answer. Because you are all a bunch of two-faced hypocrites.

I don't know where your bigotry comes from, you'll have to ask yourself that question. Did King preach that we should judge people by who they "side" with? No, he preached just the opposite. The problem is, you don't give two shits about what Dr. King's message was, you aren't interested in our children walking hand in hand, your heart is full of anger, rage, resentment, and revenge. You want to "punish" white people to make them pay for the past transgressions of their ancestors.

We established in another thread, you won't be satisfied until white people are enslaved for 200 years or more, because that's when things will be "even" between us. But again, is that what Dr. King's message was? I'm not "outraged" at all, I grew up in Alabama, I've been exposed to plenty of racist bigotry. I do find it sad and shameful that it's coming from someone who should know better.

What a stupid bitch you are. I attended a MLK rally, in Chicago, in 1965 and heard him speak. What about you? You don't know me. Don't pretend to, or assume anything about me. Punish white people? Bitch please. There are two kinds of white people: Decent and not. You wouldn't be the former. Pay for the past transgressions of their ancestors???????????????? Bitch please. I want the ones in error to pay for their present transgressions. Ain't nothing retro-active. That's what's wrong with the lot of you.
You're so stricken by guilt, knowing full well, you're doing wrong, you want to make alludes to what went on before. There is nothing that can be done about the past. No one is interested in reparations, that you're so apt to bandy around. I don't want a thin dime of blood money. There isn't enough gold in Fort Knox to satisfy the debt. It's forgiven, by a Christian heart.

White people enslaved? Bitch, you're enslaved and don't even recognize it. To your money, to your cars, to your white privilege, to your sexual appetite, to your shortcomings, and to your inadequacies. I'm your worst nightmare....an educated n-word. I went to school, and didn't dawdle. Just because you can't put objects together and create nuclear fusion, doesn't mean that I can't. Go back to school, and this time, pay attention.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL....at all of it.

I lived in a state where he was the pastor of a church, what do you think? Of course I heard him speak, I told you earlier, my mother marched with King after hearing him speak. Our family knew of Dr. King long before he became a national figure. And I assure you, he NEVER preached the hate and revile you articulate here on a regular basis, in fact, his message was a very contradiction to the hate-filled message you are spreading. I think, rather than be cocky and arrogant about your education, maybe you need to do some more studying on Dr. King and what he stood for.

LOL. Some white bitch, lecturing me on Dr. King. The arrogance is astounding. There is a picture of Dr. King at the dinner table of my dentist uncle.

There is nothing arrogant about my comments. You are not preaching what King preached, simple as that.

You're confused. I'm not King. And I don't let my guard down around vipers. Complacency and trust is what led to the Jews destruction in the Holocaust.

And you're not Saint Joan or Mother Theresa. I fucking nailed that one , too.

Yes, you are brilliant. Not only have you successfully demonstrated your racist hate and bigotry, and not only have you besmirched and publicly denounced the message of Dr. King, but you have also observed I am no Mother Theresa. Well done! I could not have asked for a better response to a thread... thanks for your profound contributions!!

LOL. Says one with zero credibility. I ask you, why is it the general consensus that you're a racist and a bigot? That's none of my doing. Don't project your racism and bigotry onto me. The mantle is not mine.

Not sure if they knew him when he was in Atlanta. I'm only familiar with when he was pastor at Dexter Ave. in Montgomery.

I belive he was fairly well known by then. When Mrs. Parks got on the bus, he was already on the national scene.

Let me ask you something? Since when do we make determinations on people's character based on what other people's perceptions are?

I have no idea why people think I am a racist? Maybe it's the name? Maybe it's the flag? Maybe it's because I am from Alabama? Maybe it's because I am a Republican? Maybe it's because I don't subscribe to black liberation theology? I can't answer as to why bigots see me as something I'm not, any more than you can answer for why a bigot would see you as something you're not. I just know that I am not, nor have I ever been, a racist. You can't provide any evidence from anything I have posted here, to show that I am a racist. In fact, most everything I post concerning race is neutral and in accordance with what Dr. King advocated. I believe strongly in his message of a dream, but I also realize it is impossible to ever achieve his dream with people like you in the world, because you are hell-bent to see that doesn't ever happen. As I said, put a sheet over your head and you won't be able to tell the difference, you'd fit right in!
