My former brother in law apologized every time he hit my sister. Yet he continued to do it.
then your sister should have made him and inny.

But SF is right.

I had a cousin that was treated that way by her husband. After the relationship ended I found out this was the cycle. I happened to be there near the end and witnessed one such "cuffing" as he called it. I can honestly say that that is the only time I have ever hit another human being....but I did a good job of it. It is probably the male chauvinism in me but when I see a woman (or child) being abused by a man ... well let's just say that is about the only time I get angry.
This is an incredibly sexist description of women. I don't fit it. No one has ever called me demure. Nor do I wish to be described in that way.
And you don't get to judge who is a woman and who isn't. A woman is a woman. Women I don't like are women. No woman should ever be hit by a man. I personally don't believe in violence and don't think that men should hit other men either. however, I would never trust a man who would hit a woman for any reason. And for pointing a finger in your face? Because she acts in way you don't view as "demure"?
That's outright misogynistic.
Boy those are words you don't see every day.
Poet is a late 50's gay man from Houston with an enormous chip on his shoulder.
And you have a point. As I stated before, I got carried away with my emotions, and Jan Brewer, and compromised my true feelings. Women are a many splendored thing.
What I meant was that lines are drawn, and when those lines are crossed, say when a woman executes violence or become the perpetrator, then in defense a man may have to fight force with force, in self defense. How many women are on death row for murder? Let's not pretend that women cannot be as vicious or as deadly as a man. They can.
I was living once with a lesbian, who was slightly bigger than I, and we got into a confrontation, and was precisely all up in my face pointing and being threatening....and she decided to call the police. The police told everybody to calm down, but because I had paid rent, I couldn't be thrown out.
Truth be told...some women are not women, per se. Some are, for all practical purposes, "men". Act accordingly. Everything is not "black and white"....but includes exceptions to rules.
you are fucking deluded. Now you are just making excuses for your cowardly comments.
And you're making bold statements from the confines of your computer monitor. Big balls, those.
pretty much par for the course. you should have gone to USC.
Saying you shouldn't hit women isn't (or shouldn't be) that bold of a statement.
And you're making bold statements from the confines of your computer monitor. Big balls, those.
I clarified...I'm not going to rehash and rehash. Get you some business.
You are an extremely hard chap to figure out, if it was anybody else I would say that they were taking the piss.
Forget about Theron. The discussion that took place on this board between Billy, yourself, and Cawacko was disgusting. I hate to tell you this but as a white guy you don't get to be the arbitrator on what's offensive and what's not.
You should have named another thread for this discussion, and called it "Bitches; they ain't shit".
I really don't care what some privileged white guy's opinion of what's offensive is.
Yes, both of those statements are true.
That is why I could not guess who is telling the truth about that private encounter, and I have no opinion on it.
