He kept his cool and came off looking like the adult while she let her actions shame her own name.

I think the aftermath of the encounter is much ado about nothing by both sides. I was watching MSNBC some this weekend and the lefties were having at Jan Brewer because of it and I am sure the righties are all either applauding her or talking about how bad Obama was to her. All I have to add to this thread is that I'd never hit a woman...

Forgive my indiscretions. I was being "reactionary', and "head-strong". I view women through the eyes of a son viewing his mother. You're absolutely correct, on all counts. Your grace.

thats because whether on the left or on the right, it is not acceptable for a man to hit a woman. Period. Unfortunately there are cowards in this world who haven't learned that lesson. The video wacko posted is exactly what should happen to any coward that hits a woman. Regardless of race/reglion/sexual prefernce... coward hits woman... coward gets ass kicked until he learns the lesson.

This is an incredibly sexist description of women. I don't fit it. No one has ever called me demure. Nor do I wish to be described in that way.

And you don't get to judge who is a woman and who isn't. A woman is a woman. Women I don't like are women. No woman should ever be hit by a man. I personally don't believe in violence and don't think that men should hit other men either. however, I would never trust a man who would hit a woman for any reason. And for pointing a finger in your face? Because she acts in way you don't view as "demure"?

That's outright misogynistic.

I almost died laughing when I read the 'innny or outy' part. Most often that is how people refer to the manner in which the umbilical cord was tied off. It took me a New york minute to get what she was referring to.... then laughter ensued.

I have taken to calling it Inny and Outy to stress just how little it means to what kind of a human being you are because of your "equipment".
