Is anybody else watching this awesome game? I have never seen an Olympic game called like this. I've seen tripping, high sticks, everything and so far one penalty in 2 periods.

Score USA 3, Canada 2...
 
Three straight powerplays... The US finally scores.

Man, and this is just a preliminary? Are they going to let them play like this throughout the Olympics? If so, the US is very likely to get gold...

I just saw a minute or so and a Canadian player was repeatedly slamming his stick against an American's shoulder and the American whacked him back on the shins. The game's gone downhill, and had been since the 70's.

On a side note...does anyone know what the NHL commisioner decided to do about players at the Olympics?

Buzz Killington is a play on the word buzzkill. In other words...it's a JOKE!

But since I wasn't make fun of "queers" I didn't expect you to get it anyway.

I actually happen to think Rollerball was an awesome movie. But, yeah, the hockey-haters should probably avoid threads about hockey...
