What is our current situation?
I'm gathering the data now.
At first glance it looks like 120K New Cases and over 1900 New Deaths, but we may be beginning to level the curve.
The graph of Active Cases appears to still be rising, but perhaps not as quickly as a few weeks ago.

Will we level it off before we make it up to 10 Million Active Cases of COVID-19 in the USA?

It can be taken as an encouraging sign that the number of Critical and Serious Cases has begun to fall.
It recently peaked at 25,778 on Sept 10th.
It has now dropped to 23,834.
We like that.
The fewer Serious and Critical Cases, the fewer people about to die.

The number of Active Cases involving the Delta Variant have yet to peak in the United States.
We gotta turn this around, folks.

As a result, the number of Active Cases has fallen.
It never reached 10 million.
Let us hope THAT continues!
If it does continue, then we just set our second peak in Active Cases, just below 10 million in the USA.
The second peak in Active Cases may have been on 9-25-21 at 9,857,502 Active Cases of COVID-19 in the USA.
