The damage done (united we stand, divided we fall)

You're assuming that there has been some type of free speech censorship. You're also, ala Lush Rumbauh and Mark Levin, that there's some type of Marxism afoot in liberal politics which just on its surface is a baseless assertion/ conspiracy theory that plays on the ignorance and emotional hyperbole of people such as yourself. If you are going to charge that, then you have to successfully link to Marx or his philosophy and show where the Democrats are using said philosophy as a platform or technique.

The censorship isn’t an assumption—it’s a reality. It’s just not a free speech issue in a formal sense because the government isn’t involved. And again, there was a day when actual liberals wouldn’t tolerate it. But that’s the point, liberals have become leftists/‘progressives’/Marxists.

Come back when you understand that the Bill of Rights is only a restriction on Government, not people or business you fucking idiot.

Oh, so it wasn't discrimination because Sander's and her husband were harassed out of a restaurant?

Oh look, the way back machine is out! lol No, because it was not based on a protected attribute. Political POV is not a protected aspect of an individual's status.

You are wrong about that. One example: "Liberals" never cared for the n-word, and good parents did not use it or allow the kids to use it. The anti-PC crowd (mostly Reichwingers) think that this means liberals are stifling free speech. What you really mean is that you believe everyone should have the right to use someone else's platform to say whatever they want, without any consequences.

Rappers are kicked off social media for using the N-word lol?

Where does this happen?

Harassment is harassment. Tell us, what's the difference?

I thought the discussion was about free speech and the so-called "cancel culture." What does being asked to leave a restaurant have to do with either one?

Uh, no it wasn't.

Look at the top of the page and you'll see

The damage done (united we stand, divided we fall)

That was the topic of the discussion.

The harassment of someone simply because of their employer and political leaning is divisive.

So you condemn the RWers in the article I linked?

The meaning of liberal (good, generous free) is obliterated and flung as the most base insult, while all the other wrongly used words also become meaningless.
That's funny considering now it means book banning Nazi Fascists.

What turned the party into Nazis? Duh bad orange man made ya do it? :rofl2:

It's about school kids. Kids aren't old enough to interpret the n word as something from a racist past as adults are. Neither are they old enough to see that, although Seuss was depicting other races doing things in their country, not standing walking down the streets of America ad as such today's kids are likely to confuse those images as modern as well. The same way they would with a barefoot white guy in a pair of shaggy overalls, a torn hat, corncob pipe and a corked clay bottle with an X on it as a normal person living in the Ozarks. It won't work in today's world. Your emotionally driven hate for the left places you in the unfortunate position of not being able to tell the difference between reality and conspiracy.

It’s actually ok to depict white hillbillies that way. We don’t whine about it and we think it’s funny, actually.
