There are two ways those of us who desire to live in civilization can react when some entity -- a politician maybe, or a company, or an entertainer -- behaves in a way that is anathema to us. We can use the might of the government to punish and stifle them, or we can vote with our money and our voices. Your ilk calls it "cancel culture" because you think that you should be able to spew hatred, violence, racism, bigotry, etc. wherever you are and whenever you want. You voted for #TRE45ON because you claim that he's "not PC" and you love that. You delight in hearing his lies, racist and misogynist nastiness, and bullying. Twitter canceled him. Good. We the people of the United States canceled him with our votes. Even better.

My state used to have open primaries. I stopped voting in primaries when I had to declare one party or the other. The Republican legislature made the change.

Seems that’s the main Republican focus these days. Limiting one’s choice and access to the polls.

The division is a gift, not a curse. These people were never truly brethren. They are not spiritual, not compassionate and they have no soul.

This reckoning is LONG OVERDUE, and as responsible Americans we must find the path forward, not look backwards to what never was. Look no further than this board. There is no common ground, nothing even remotely resembling bi-partisanship, and that is exactly how they want it to be, Rarely can you even engage in a friendly conversation with most of them.

Long past time for democrats to accept the reality that these people don’t care about democracy, don’t really care about this nation. They FEAR and REJECT everything that isn’t white and they will violently react to their FEAR.
