Divided we fall.

After almost forty years of Rush Limbaugh preaching hatred of Liberals and causing maximum division in the American electorate,
and decades of Fox news pushing for civil war one could hardly expect the right to welcome calls of unity from the Left.

Frankly it was foolish to even ask. The right has been brainwashed by the lies of O'Reily and Hannity into totally believing that their enemy is the Left, Lying lefties, moonbats, now Socialists, Next Communists and even outright Marxists.

The meaning of liberal (good, generous free) is obliterated and flung as the most base insult, while all the other wrongly used words also become meaningless.

Now fascism is recklessly thrown about as if simply calling someone an asshole.
Nazi also means nothing anymore and hypocrite is especially misused and most often misunderstood.

Conservatives no longer know what they are trying to conserve.
It certainly isn't the Governments money.
Yet despite their purposeful ignorance they have have no trouble calling for a civil war among their own brethren.
Those that are calling for Civil War on one hand will not harken to the call of Unity upon the other hand.

These people are sick deluded assholes.
The last thing they would ever consider is to join forces with their fellow Americans to force Government to do our will.

So we stay divided
bound by the whim of Aristocracy, no less slaves than under any Monarchy ever and the (at least) 7000 year old war continues unabated.
Carry the fuck on.
 
Fuck the Fillibuster.
Fuck the Electoral College.
Fuck Trump's feelings and fuck his inglorious base.
Especially fuck Lobbyists.

Want your country back? End legal bribery. Force Congress to do the will of the electorate.
Truly it is time for a Constitutional Convention and an anti-lobbying amendment.
Even if it takes decades to pass, they will never do it themselves.

I understand the reasoning behind it, but it has turned into Big Money owning our elected Representatives and Subverting Our Government and the Will of the People.

They’re nearly extinct. Liberals would defend *the principle of free speech* almost to a fault. They absolutely wouldn’t tolerate censorship in any form. The ACLU used to be a liberal organization but they’ve lost their way. I wish we could get liberals to come back.

Liberals have been replaced by neo-Marxists and cultural fascists.

This is true. In the early 90s, a guy running for some state office (I believe it was representative) named Luetkenhaus or something like that knocked on our door. He shook my hand and introduced himself and said that he was running for whatever it was as a Democrat, and handed me a campaign ad. We talked a bit about what his positions were, and I asked "Oh, so you're a liberal too?" He recoiled in almost horror and vehemently stated that he was definitely NOT "one of those." I handed him the card back, said "Oh, that's too bad," and shut the door on him.

We still don't tolerate censorship -- by the government -- which is of course the meaning of the 1st Amendment. Private companies are free to dictate their terms of use of their services. If you don't like that, don't patronize them. Only a fascist believes that we should use the powers of government to force a private entity to allow violations of its policies so you won't cry.

There is nothing the ACLU can legally do to force Twitter to give your #MalignantMango his account back.

I put the marks around the ‘principle’ of free speech for a reason.

And it doesn’t begin and end with the Big Tech oligarchy. Cancel culture is embraced by the left and it’s an anathema to the ‘principle’ of free speech. I wish there was some way to magically turn the tables on the left because then we’d see some real crying lol.
