Looks like we've got some bad numbers.
The Serious and Critical cases are right back up again, well over the 28,000 we hoped might be a peak.
And the number of deaths per million is practically 1000, meaning one in a thousand Americans alive when this began are now dead.
I had been wondering if that would happen by Christmas but it won't take that long. It will go over that figure today.
Almost 3400 dead just yesterday.

It would be nice if the vaccines were going to people most at risk first, not the Victim Culture Cults heros and product, the official victims.
In only some states is that happening.

Stop being such a fucking tool, dude. The vaccines ARE going first to those at the most risk... health care workers followed by SNF residents and staff, followed by front line workers, following by those of use 65 and older.

I hoped maybe it would not be true.
But the numbers were pointing at this happening before Christmas. It did.
We just crossed the threshold.
One out of every thousand Americans alive when the pandemic began is now dead from it.
No way it would be this bad if it had never been turned into a political football.
It never had to be political.
This was simple. The human race vs the virus. All of we humans are on the same side in this face-off. The virus is the very deadly enemy.
But no. Republicans can never bring themselves to go along with Democrats as long as there is political opportunity to be seized.
And unfortunately, our president thinks in terms of taking financial advantage of every situation. He can't not do it. So it became political and thousands more people died because of it. And continue to die.
