These leeches had no problem in presenting a valid picture ID in order to receive and use these tax payer funded GROCERIES.


If using an ID to purchase food is required by THE STATE....what makes the use of an ID restrictive to exercising one's right to vote for these supposed POOR FOLK? The right to vote is not restricted by mandatory ID......the practice of engaging in VOTER FRAUD is what is being restricted. Thus, the grinding and gnashing of teeth by the party that engages in such activity.

There is a tiny amount of fraud going on in any govt. program. But what you claim is 97% bullshit. BTW, I have lived as a poor person in poor neighborhoods and saw how ppl band together to help each other out, and I have lived in middle-class neighborhoods and seen the same, and ditto with affluent areas. If you really want to get incensed over fraud and your tax dollars, you would be well advised to look at doctors, medical facilities (esp. nursing homes), and Medicare fraud which costs us literally billions. BILLIONS. I'm a retired nurse, I've seen (and reported) Medicare fraud and abuse.

Most ppl in the US do not live in "extended periods" of poverty. I certainly did not. You are correct that some of us make bad choices. That's why I ended up living in less-than-happy circumstances early in my adult life. Some of us are also dealt a crappy hand from the git-go.... lower IQ, lackadaisical parents, poor role models, etc. Personally I'm okay with my tax bucks going to help those who are down and out.... even if some of them *could* do better but have chosen to give up. There is always going to be a subset of lazy moochers in any population; that's just the way it is in human society. I'd rather feed them and provide them with the substandard shitty housing you get when on the dole, then have them turn to crime to survive. Wouldn't you?

There is no reason even for those with learning or mental conditions to live in poverty..."IF" they have any kind of family that gives a rats rear end about their offspring. But no one is going to piss down my back and call it rain....and declare that up to 48% of the American population requires SOCIAL ASSISSANCE of some type. That is the actual number of individuals that receive some type of government aid in this nation. We are quickly becoming a nation of listless, lazy ass dependents of Society and are not long for our historical standing atop the mountain of world governments.
