You know, I never heard such attacks on Laura Bush. Liberals are able to discern public life from personal life, and honor the family life of all our presidents. I didn't agree with George W. Bush's politics and policies, but I never question if he is a good father. Laura Bush always came across as a good person and loving mother, and I love the work their daughter Jenna Bush Hager did at the Olympics for NBC. I am happy she is going to have a baby and start a family. These are the common bonds of decency that we must all honor and share as Americans.

Your post tells us nothing about Michelle Obama, but it sure reveals a hell of a lot about you.

And as far as 1950ish...in 1950, women were not allowed to attend Princeton University, graduate cum laude, and go on to earn a law degree from Harvard Law School.
