YouTube Decides Free Speech is Bad

Just tell him about his beloved banjo, and how it was created by a black man.

Oh most of his music is created by a combination of irish and african music styles. I could get into a whole discussion of music history here.

here is the funniest shit you could ever listen to. the premiere "white power" band from the 80's Skrewdriver:

Listen to the lyrics of these nazi fucktards, listen to the music..... what color do you imagine the "guitar picker, playing loud and clear"?

Fuckers literally try to play blues, while espousing national socialist garbage.

Flash, Flash, Flash.

Free speech cannot be regulated by the government.

Private business can. Proud Boys are the dukes of pukes, and its leader got his ass kicked.

Both private business and free speech can be regulated by the government. Constitutionally protected free speech does not include threats, obscenity, libel, or fighting words. Government can also regulate time and place and require permits.

Government cannot prohibit offensive or hate speech but private entities such as Facebook or Youtube can (like the Proud Boys). Free speech, and other constitutional rights, only restrict what the government can do.

jimmymccready, you need to brush up on your constitutional law.

Flash, flash, flash. Those are not free speech, just criminal words. You have no right to free speech at work or church or school. Tough.

Those are examples of speech which government can regulate. You claimed the government cannot regulate speech. There is no such thing as "criminal words."

Nobody claimed you have the right to free speech at work, church, or school. Work and school are private entities and constitutional free speech does not apply.

If it is a public school free speech can be restricted to a greater extent than a public place, but a certain degree of free speech still exists. Colleges, for example, cannot prohibit free speech in public areas of campus as long as they do not interfere with the conduct of business. You never heard of protests on college campuses? These are exercises in free speech.
