Report: Jeffrey Epstein Advised Bill Gates On Ending ‘Toxic’ Marriage, Had More Meetings Together Than Reported; Gates Disputes


Jeffrey Epstein gave Bill Gates advice on ending his marriage with Melinda after the Microsoft co-founder complained about her during a series of meetings at the money manager’s mansion, according to two people familiar with the situation.

Gates used the gatherings at Epstein’s $77 million New York townhouse as an escape from what he told Epstein was a “toxic” marriage, a topic both men found humorous, a person who attended the meetings told The Daily Beast.

The billionaire met Epstein dozens of times starting in 2011 and continuing through to 2014 mostly at the financier’s Manhattan home—a substantially higher number than has been previously reported. Their conversations took place years before Bill and Melinda Gates announced this month that they were splitting up.

Gates, in turn, encouraged Epstein to rehabilitate his image in the media following his 2008 guilty plea for soliciting a minor for prostitution, and discussed Epstein becoming involved with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Bill Gates’ golfing buddies were among the first to learn that his marriage was in the rough.

The billionaire Microsoft mogul described his relationship with wife Melinda as “loveless” to his links pals long before the couple’s divorce was revealed publicly.

“Bill did talk to his close friends on the golf course,” said a source. “He told them a while back that the marriage was loveless, that it had been over for some time and they were living separate lives.”

Gates is a golf fanatic, who wed his now-estranged wife next to the par-3, 12th hole on the golf course at the Manele Bay Hotel in Hawaii.

Following the split, he is reportedly holed up at The Vintage Club in Indian Wells, Calif., which bills itself as “one of the United States’ most prestigious” golf clubs.

Epstein’s former butler once claimed the Gateses had visited Epstein’s lavish $8 million Parisian apartment near the Arc de Triomphe, according to a 2019 article in FranceInfo.

“I served crowned heads, diplomats, businessmen and politicians,” said the butler, who only identified himself as Gabriel.

Among the powerful guests he listed were Bill and Melinda Gates.

Following reports that Gates had traveled on Epstein’s private jet in 2013, his spokeswoman, Bridgitt Arnold, said the software mogul and Epstein had met multiple times to discuss philanthropy.

Reps for Bill Gates and Melinda Gates declined to comment.

Unearthed internal Microsoft complaints claim women were ‘abused and degraded’

Newly-unearthed internal complaints detail how women working at Microsoft said they were “ignored, abused and degraded” — and even called “p–y” and “c–t” by their male co-workers, according to a report on Tuesday.

The complaints were part of a since-dismissed 2015 lawsuit against the tech giant, but are attracting new attention amid reports that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates “pursued” female employees and even had an affair with one.

“It felt like this culture flowed from the top,” Katherine Moussouris, the first plaintiff in the discrimination case, said.

A federal judge in Seattle denied their motion in November 2020. The plaintiffs appealed that decision and lost.
