Feds accuse five IRS employees of scamming COVID relief loans

But we will get 87,000 more potential thieves to audit you.

"The Justice Department announced fraud charges Tuesday against five current or former IRS employees in Tennessee whom prosecutors say stole money from the government’s pandemic relief programs.

The Washington Times has reported on a striking number of cases involving government employees, including those who worked in state unemployment agencies or at the U.S. Postal Service, and who used their posts to further their fraud."

Just want we need a bigger govt stealing more money from half the Americans who actually pay federal income tax.

I heard it rained in Zambia today. Trump's fault right?

No, but it is Trump's fault that people abused PPP because he and his "very fine people" opposed any oversight, probably because they all got PPP loans that were forgiven without any of them even making a single payment towards the balance.

NOT ONE OF THEM TRIED TO PAY ANY OF IT BACK.

Unlike student loan borrowers who were paying those loans back, not one single PPP loan recipient even made an effort to repay even $0.01 of the loan they got:

Employee theft is responsible for about 43% of all inventory loss in US stores.

$124 billion of student loan debt is in default. To suggest they are paying it back is asinine

$124 billion of student loan debt is in default.

Overall, there is about $1.6T in outstanding student loans, so this represents less than 8%.

Meanwhile 100% of $690B in PPP loans were outstanding and forgiven.

Now is $124B > or < $690B?

You said they were paying it back. They aren't. Period.

You said they were paying it back. They aren't. Period.

They are.

I didn't say they ALL were paying it back, just that they were.

Meanwhile, not one single PPP loan recipient paid anything back...so guess which one you have the problem with?

You said they were paying it back. They aren't. Period.

Also, defaulting means they were paying it back, but couldn't anymore.

That's completely different from PPP loan recipients who had their loans forgiven without a single one going into default.

As is always the case with you, the deeper we go into the details, the more your argument collapses under its own weight.

WERE

Do you know what "were" means?

Do you know what tense that is?

Or am I wasting my time with you because you're a fucking idiot who barely speaks English?

Student loan borrowers WERE paying loans until some of them defaulted.

Nothing I said there was a lie, but you fucking lied about what I said because English isn't your native language, oinking and bleating like a barnyard animal is.

So let me say this in your native tongue and hopefully it sinks in: Oink oink oink, mooo mooo oink oink, baaa baaa oink oink oink moo.
