I vaguely remember the conversation, I think he was high and trolling, he does that a lot, he was talking about Boston being all white. I was shocked because I had never thought of Grind being alt right, but he was trolling that way that night.

He was trolling Damo, I vaguely remember the conversation, I was shocked, it may not have been those exact words but I do remember challenging him on it. He was bragging about Boston being all white and his preferring it that way. It was around the time he outed himself as a full blown Trump supporter. It was a shocker and the first time I thought Grind might be a closet racists. He definitely was a closet Trump supporter.

yes it is, which is why many on the left are racists now. that's what identify politics largely is. There were two women in portland trying to open a taco shop, and they got blasted for cultural appropriation.

At evergreen state college, whites were told not to show up on campus.

I don't see how we are ever going to be unified if the left is obsessed with dividing people into subgroups down to the nth degree. And this is what I was saying at the start of the thread - when you get obsessed about putting everyone into race boxes, it doesn't take a rocket scientist for white people to identify more and more as being on team white. This is one reason trump won in 2016.
