Since there were Democrats running besides Hillary, it's quite clear why she chose the one she did.

In 2008, there were black voters that had never voted before but could have done so in more than one election prior to then. Are you going to say the reason they voted then was they suddenly decided to do their civic duty? Are you willing to say having a black Democrat as a candidate had nothing to do with it?
