Responding to an attack by the terrorist group, Hamas, that resulted in Israeli infants being beheaded and thousands of Israeli citizens being slaughtered, in no way on earth involves a war crime.

Americans and Israelis were slaughtered and taken hostage, a violation of the Geneva Convention.

What Hamas did is a war crime and genocide, crimes against humanity.

Israel is allowed the right of self-defense when attacked.

100 years ago, the occupiers of the area that consists of Israel today were primarily the British. They had serious issues with Palestinian terrorism back then too.

I will say that the British weren't exactly nice and used some very heavy-handed methods to deal with uprisings and terrorism in Trans-Jordan. But part of the problem was the population itself. Resolution of issues was more often done through tribal warfare than some legal proceeding and the British were simply the latest bunch to try and impose order on the region.

Yeah, for centuries the British treated half the globe as their property. Palestine wasn't the only place they ran into problems with "the population itself".
 
The Brandon administration's vvery own John Kirby has the solution for getting Americans out of Isarel, just book a flight.

"When asked what the U.S. is doing to evacuate Americans from Israel, Kirby said on NewsNation’s “The Hill” that the U.S. is evaluating alternatives for getting them out of the country. He noted that commercial flights are still going out of Ben Gurion Airport, which could be an option for Americans."
