the examples you gave, i know GE is true, as to the rest i don't know. and i find that egregious. that isn't the corps fault though, that is the legislatures fault. stop bitching about corporations and get your democratic majority in the WH and senate and fix it....oh wait...even when you had a super majority you didn't fix it. so continue bitching from your arm about evil corps, but know this, they are following the law.
And your point?
You admit you don't know, but that doesn't stop you from spewing right wing rhetoric. Get off your willfully dumb ass, READ, RESEARCH and then comment.
Obama's your guy,...bitch to him, not us.
How ironic; a hyper partisan leftist twit who NEVER does any research beyond parroting the moronic leftist meme's he has been fed claiming others should do research.
Well here are some inconvenient facts for you:
FIRST: NO ONE can know how much corporations actually pay in taxes so most of the claims are based purely on hyperbole and ASSumptions.
SECOND: GE does pay BILLIONS in taxes contrary to the fabricated claims of the New York Times who is a liberal rag devoted to disinformation bullshit and hyper partisan hyperbole.
THIRD: GE had a tax reduction carryover for $32 billion in losses from the 2008 economic collapse.
FACT: GE's tax forms amounted to 57,000 pages. Now if that isn't a testimony for what is so terribly wrong with our tax code nothing else is.
FACT: GE's CEO is playing Obama's Jobs Czar and sat on his economic council. How fitting that the lefttards in the country would now attack one of the biggest high wage employers in the nation.
Contrary to multiple news reports in 2011 that fingered General Electric as an income tax dodger during 2010, a GE representative told The Daily Caller the company did in fact pay more than $1 billion in U.S. taxes that year. Additionally, a document GE provided to The DC establishes that the company paid $2.671 billion globally in income tax in 2010.
..............
Then, in a September 10, 2011 story about tax breaks for video game companies, Kocieniewski explained — correctly — that “[n]either corporations nor the government make tax returns public, and the information most companies disclose in their regulatory filings is insufficient to determine how much they pay in federal taxes and how that compares to the official United States corporate rate of 35 percent.”

BINGO; but also a brain dead leftist twit of epic proportions.
The thread title says the rich while it should have said some big companies. Sanders named his article aptly why not this ?
You're about as stupid as the Post Modern Fool...which is why he's on IA.
Think, you simpleton, THINK! If an a American based company starts a subsidiary in a foreign nation, and derives profit from that, then that is REVENUE...and revenue is a taxable item on your tax return.
So does this picayune point of yours change the FACTS that corporations, those who profit from them (i.e., owners, CEO's) are NOT paying their fair share as opposed to you and I?

The opening post stands....TFB if the truth hurts your ideology, but then no one said life was easy.
A clarification...which supports my original post:
We’re not going to weigh in on Warren’s larger point about whether corporations like GE aren’t paying their fair share. That’s up to voters to decide. Again, the company has clearly been aggressive in reducing its tax burden through various tax credits and deductions created by the federal government (one example is clean energy incentives). It also has been creative in moving a good deal of its profits offshore. But Warren overreached with her claim that GE pays “zero” in taxes. The company does pay payroll taxes and local and state taxes. And GE says it also pays federal income taxes. How much? We don’t know, and GE isn’t saying. Nor is it required to.

I don't think you know much about what makes people rich.
Sounds like more and more people are coming on board for a flat tax.

The tax code is beautiful.
And will not change much for a decade.
Can't you mind your own business? They aren't hurting you. We have been over this. Your meme has been debunked.
Pay more if you want to pay more. Or just be rich

Never happen. Too many entrenched interests and those moderate republicans like you will never rock the boat. Don't worry you don't pay income tax on your unemployment welfare and I am sure that it will be extended again. Have a beer and relax
