Prove that some cut Trump made to the NOAA or NWS had any effect on the events in Texas. The NWS put out their standard flood alert warnings for the area just like always. What else were they supposed to do?
Prove the cuts "gut(ted)" them. Rather, you are simply making a fallacy fallacy. That is, Trump fired or reduced the staffing at various programs and you assume without proof that means those programs are now somehow less effective. To do this you glom onto any negative and automatically assign blame without linking any proof. In effect, you are saying, The staff reductions MUST be the cause of this problem... when it could be due to a plethora of other causes you ignore.
Project 2025 is as much bullshit as the Democrat version Project 2028. On the other hand, dismantling the administrative state and cutting it back to a tiny thing is a good idea. How would you handle making government more efficient?
