You Know the Drug War Has Gone Too Far When . . .

Post a racist joke to me then act surprised when I hit back.

What a pussy.

I didn't attack white people, I attacked you.

What was the point of you posting a racist joke to me? Angry that I demonstrated you are uninformed exactly as I said I would if you stepped into this issue?

Your response was to post some racist shit.

Now you whine like a pussy.

And yet; you are unable to see that your constant "white people" comments could also be seen as racist.

Yup, you win.

:lmao:

Dude, you should be ridiculed .. and I say that with all sincerity.

You jumped on my comment and called it racist when there wasn't a shred of racism in it ..then challenged me to defend it, AND I DID by presenting FACTS to you in a civil manner.

You came back with the "no fathers in the house" excuse which doesn't have one damn thing to do with the racist intent of the war on drugs .. which by the way has been studied, documented, and proven far beyond reasonable doubt.

Please, feel free to proclaim victory. :)

Are you trying to say that the lack of fathers, doesn't have any anything to possibly do with the high incarciration.

As I have said on here before, we have random drug tests for our kids at this public school. Anyone caught with marijuana (the most common thing here - we've caught 3 kids in my 21+ years of teaching) the administration calls the sheriff. A person has to have a little common sense when searching though. After reading what I read in this case the administration was not justified.....especially for ibuprofen for Pete's sake.

wait, what? what school system are you a part of that routinely violates the rights of its students like that with random drug tests?

Why is random drug testing of students even done at all? On what basis should a student be required to cede his or her privacy at random?

It's better than strip searching for ibuprofen, but it's still a pernicious invasion of individual privacy for no good reason.

I agree. I would not subject my child to a system that invades her privacy with no good cause in this way.

When did "white people" become racist?

Most people here have acknowledged the racist element to the war on drugs. How do you discuss that element without the comparison to white people?

I've been here a lot longer than you sir and most here know I'm not the slightest bit racist .. but I will discuss the obvious and the differences in perspectives.

I'm quite sure that even Top knows that.

It doesn't matter how long you've "been here".
The majority of your threads contain "racial undertones" and it's obvious that you're nothing but someone who wants to blame the "MAN" for his plight in life.
Sucks to be you

Which makes my point about perhaps with this child being white, something may actually get done about it.

Students that attend school systems in the inner-cities are routinely violated even though statistics and studies show these students are no more likely to carry drugs or weapons than students in rural communities.

Drugs dogs in some schools are so common the students know the dog's name.

I don't give a damn about what the fuck you think "sucks" you idiot.

There is NO, ZERO, NADA, ZILCH, NYET doubt in my mind that I've lived a far more fulfilling life than your uneducated ass. :)

You're just an uneducated clown, completely out of your element.

All you have to offer is girlyman posts like these. Incapable of sanity or civil debate. :)

You'll have to excuse Oh Dumb Motherfucker .. I'm having much better conversations with people with brains .. just as I have long before your ignorant uneducated ass showed up.

:)

I've said this before, but I absolutely totally agree.

I have gone over this before but for those that missed it:

The drug testing was initially a requirement for those students who participate in extracurricular activities....but then parents of the other students wanted their children to participate in the program. So we set that up and gave the parents of ALL students the option to sign up for the program. We have had a 100% sign up rate since implementing the program for all students back in 2001 and in that time we have had one positive test.

"First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win." Ghandi
The funniest thing about you posting this quote, is you are such a supporter of the police power had you been a brit in India in the 40s you would have been one of them beating the Indians.

Parental consent doesn't make it any better. If the parents want to randomly drug test their kids they should feel free to do so without assistance from authorities of the state.

Again, I will defend this program. As can be seen by the sign-up rate most parents here don't want thier kids involved in drugs and this is just one other method for early detection....for their benefit as well as for the school's. Also as can be seen from the low number of positive tests, this along with other efforts seem to be working. Now if we could just come up with a way to curb the real problem......Alcohol.

Testing for extracurricular activities is pretty common, dare I even say standard, at every school I've been to.
