No, douchebag, that's not what she said. It's you who suffers from lack of comprehension.

Can someone explain what is meant by the phrase "right to work". I'd like to be clear about what Hillary means when she says it.

Maybe or maybe you got sour grapes cause people won't put up with free loading free riders.

Basically "right to work" means you can't be required to join a union at an employers whose workers have, under collective bargaining rights, negotiated an employment contract.

The problem with that is that free riders undermine the collective bargaining process by not paying their share of the cost for representation and negotiations yet expect the same pay, benefits and contractual employment rights as opposed to being an at will employee.

Hillary is being a douchebag once again
The phrase ( and she must be p̶a̶n̶d̶e̶r̶i̶n̶g̶ fundraising to her base here) has to go towards so called "right to work" states.

Florida is one. I love it. I can work as an independent contractor -and my company doesn't need to pay minimums, or unemployment insurance.
It's a true meritocracy, and because they don't have to pay minimums -I make much more then other call center employees.

On the other hand they can fire at will. They are clear on what they want, and I meet the metrics, and I've been there more then 10 years now.
I don't need Democrats telling me how I have to work. My company won't even hire in blue states like NY and CA -
which are openly hostile to right to work office positions.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-to-work_law
....right to work laws prohibit union security agreements, or agreements between employers and labor unions, that govern the extent to which an established union can require employees' membership, payment of union dues, or fees as a condition of employment, either before or after hiring. Right-to-work laws do not aim to provide general guarantee of employment to people seeking work, but rather are a government regulation of the contractual agreements between employers and labor unions that prevents them from excluding non-union workers,[1] or requiring employees to pay a fee to unions that have negotiated the labor contract all the employees work under.....

the bitch was in Orlando when she said this..what a deplorable remark!

who the fuck is she ( Democrats) to tell states what type of work contracts they can use?

Unfucking real. Get the fed's out of my states contract labor laws..It's bad enough they gotta use fed regs to reach into EVERYTHING.
Stay out of my choices on how I contract myself out.

Bingo.

All I know is, I'm a "non-dues-paying" member of a teacher's union(I had no say in it), and the salary increases they have negotiated have been far out paced by the union dues that I would be paying if I was a dues paying member. Not to mention their political contributions, which almost inevitably end up in the hands of democrats.

How are they getting free stuff? They are not represented by the union, the employer doesn't have to pay them union wages so if they negotiated the same rate of pay that was their effort. Same thing with benefits. The employer wouldn't be required to give them the same union mandated benefits so if they negotiated them that's their effort.

Explain how this is wrong. I might be missing something.

Disclaimer: I was once fired from a union for getting too much work done. The other union guys liked to stretch the projects out and I was getting it done too fast for the lazy bastards. That company went out of business. Wonder why? I've been self employed since shortly after that experience.

In plain words....you've lost another one of your rights if Hillary has her way....right to work laws will be a thing of the past and you will do as your told, join or sit a home without a job.
Why ? Because unions will donate millions to her and her party to get their way..

States establish this distinction. Virginia I am proud to say is a right to work state.
So hrc, as usual, is wrong.
She may not like it or as is actually the case, is trying to win back union support she threw away by flip flopping on TPP when bo told her to.
When you have masters to obey things get sticky.

Where in the constitution is there any right to work? There is no such thing as a "right to work". Especially not in the rightist sense, where somehow this "right to work" applies in zero situations other than one in which contracts regulating who can continue working at a company happens to benefit unions.

Labor laws should be entirely nationalized, states should have no say in the matter.

Fascist. What right do you to use government force to exclude unions from what kind of contracts they can negotiate? Apparently corporations have freedom of contract, not workers and their representatives.

Fucking uneducated hick. You shouldn't have a right to vote. You have no idea what's in your best interest, your idea of your best interest is just never ending appeasement towards the upper class, you're a running dog who thinks they'll fling you some more scraps if you're a good boy and give them everything they want. Disgusting.

A sensible right to work would be requiring the private industry employee a certain number of workers, such that no one who is willing is denied the ability to work.

you would have to actually post something with decent enough language & clear enough references for me to respond.
I can't follow that rant, nor the vague references.

your boss should tell you the same thing as security escorts you to the street.....
