I haven't heard a single elected Democrat come out an support of Bernie's comments. They are silently selling out the middle class vis-a-vis candy assed weak absence of leadership.

The Democrats idea of compromise is to give in to cutting programs that help most Americans in exchange for short term political advantage in the 2012 election. It's fucking disgusting and Democrats should be ashamed!

Too bad the 'Lion of the Senate' is gone. Bernie is the only one in Washington with the courage to speak out. Ted Kennedy or his brothers Jack or Bobby would have taken Obama to the wood shed. What Obama and the Democrats don't understand, they are catering to fanatical extremists who will NEVER, EVER vote for them. They are surrendering what the Democratic Party has always fought for...PEOPLE.

We needed an FDR, JFK or Truman...instead we got HOOVER.

Maybe it's all part of the game plan. Obama and the Dems have to win in '12. The health plan depends on it, as well as, other programs. Considering how the Repubs attempted to brand the health care plan as some deadly socialist nightmare any Democrat putting forward a comprehensive proposal would be accused of plagiarizing Mein Kampf.
