You do know the REAL reason the left has always supported abortion right?

I am not doing anything but commenting on a discussion forum, Wolverine. Offering an opinion, if you will.

A women with a pregnancy occurring in her own body who decides to terminate that pregnancy is NOT murdering anyone. She is obtaining an abortion to terminate her pregnancy.

That is a human being in her, and a separate being entirely, it is not hr Body!

There is no "child" to kill. We are talking about an abortion...of what might still be an embryo...essentially a clump of cells.

So get off that.

In any case, you think a woman pregnant because of a rape should not be able to get an abortion.

You are the fucking ghoul, Wolverine. YOU!

You are wrong, DNA transfers at conception that child it is a complete human!

If you want to think a few cells are a complete human being...not much that can be done to help you...unless you seek psychiatric help on your own.

I understand that saying that is a way to confuse the argument, and ease your aching soul! It is a human being! Tell me Frank, when they do an abortion and the child lives, should it be kept alive, or set in a dark cold room until it dies!

I understand that saying that is a way to confuse the argument...

I am not trying to confuse the argument. I am attempting to meet it head-on.

You, on the other hand, are trying (unsuccessfully) to thwart it.

...and ease your aching soul!

I am at peace with my remarks on this topic. If there is a troubled soul...it is yours.

It is a human being!

It is not a human being any more than an egg is a chicken. But you are going to insist your bullshit must be accepted...and I am going to tell you that will not fly.

If a child is born...it should be treated as newborns are treated.

Are you nuts...or have you just run out of ammunition?

What happens when we deny a group of people their personhood? The Holocaust, enslavement of African Americans, and the oppression of women, to name a few atrocities.

A cancer cell is human life. A canker is human life. An uncomfortable boil on your ass is human life.

You said it was a human being.

For a good portion of the time, it is mostly just a bunch of cells.

As soon as that cancer cell ever becomes more that that let me know!

You are addicted to stupid questions, Wolverine.

If a woman with a pregnancy occurring in her own body wants to end that pregnancy, she should have the right to do so.

Okay, so your ass is a bunch of cells.

As I said though, for a good portion of the time, it is mostly just a bunch of cells.

https://www.cnsnews.com/commentary/...autonomous-life-womb-proves-personhood-starts

The problem for this view, Dumitru writes, is that so-called “clumps” whether in a uterus or in a lab, don’t behave like clumps of cells. Instead, they appear to act independently, or autonomously, of any signals from the mother’s body, whether in or out of the womb. And “clumps” don’t do that.

As Ana Maria explains, “This one little cell, with its complete genetic content, can and does begin to divide and to grow, even in an experimental dish in an incubator in the closet space of some unmarked lab. … That means, as we suspected, embryos know what they’re supposed to do to live, and they try to live, whether they’re in their mother or not.”

And it means not only that the embryo is a living being, but that it’s a person. This demolishes another argument for legal abortion, that the unborn may be living, but not yet persons—in other words, deserving of legal protection.
