Not if he is correct. Remember more than one group of cyber security experts have verified the data as accurate that Lindell has and so has a cyber security author.
Lindell says he has 70 cyber security experts coming to the symposium to analyze the pcap data.

Like I said... if those packet captures (how he got them is the question) show the source is from China, it is on them to show the IPs and packets aren't spoofed or through proxies.

The White Hat hacker Cyber Security expert said the Pcaps can't be faked. I'm no computer expert so I have to trust the experts. Lindell and the security guy both said other cyber experts had also reverified the data. So

Dude, I've been a computer programmer for years and have used the packet analyzer. Yes the IP addresses can be spoofed.
Even if it is proven, will that change anything? That is the question. They already know that those IPs are fake.

That does not change the fact that the election computers received Pcaps that instructed them to change voting tallies. Per haps the attacker can be obscured but the attack can't

Yes I know IP addresses can be spoofed. All I know is the security experts that know more about the data than you or me think its legit and Lindell has backed that up with 5 million. But we only have to wait till Tuesday to see what everyone else thinks.What is IP spoofing?

A packet capture is simply a data file of the packets that were sent/received. Once the data is in a file it can be edited to show that it came from anywhere. The file metadata can be edited to show the file wasn't edited. Data packets don't use machine code. Data packets use data bytes which would be ASCII for the IP address. I can edit that data in no time at all once it is in a file. If I had a packet capture of your communication with JPP, I could do a simple find and replace and then the data packets would show you communicated with a Russian IP every time you connect to JPP.
The problem is that we have no provenance of where Lindell got his so called P-caps and how it was protected from being edited. There may no way to prove it isn't real but he has no way to prove it is real. The first question is how did he come by this packet capture. In most cases it is illegal to capture packets on a government system. The easiest way to prove his fraud is to look at his evidence and then go look at the logs of the routers where he is claiming the packets originated from. The problem is that by keeping is evidence secret so long there is no way to verify if it is true or not if the logs have been overwritten. This is a classic scam. Fail to provide the evidence in a timely fashion when it could be verified then claim because it can't be verified any longer it must be true.
