What's age got to do with it? My point is contending that the majority of mimimum age workers live at home with their parents is bullshit.

They encompass every single age group in America, with an increasing number among the elderly. To think that living off minimum wage is either easy or convenient or spending money while mommy and daddy foot the bill is ludicrous and silly.
 
And actually, with the recession last few years, the average age is increasing.

Besides, even kids living at home with their parents - they may be saving for college, or their first apartment, or buying a car, or helping out their unemployed parents - who says they don't need a living wage?

I was going on the assumption the younger the person the more likely they are to live at home.

It's not about the millions and billions....it's about power, control and ego....they already have millions and billions....they want to run the world.

That's what our right wing brethren do not seem to comprehend....that tyranny isn't exclusive to government. In fact, our government...with one man/one vote is exactly what allows tyranny NOT to happen here. If a leader becomes a tyrant...we vote them out....but with these tyrants....we can't vote out and they pass their money, power and ideology onto their offspring. They are the modern day Monarchy that we fought so hard to get away from in 1776.

Take the Koch's for instance....Daddy was a very wealthy, powerful man and one of the founding members of the John Birch Society....he taught his sons well and they continue to carry on their father's ideals.
 
if you can't get a job that pays more than $7.25 an hour whose fault is it?

then you want to pay people who won't work, give them free health care, section 8 housing,an obamaphone and food stamps.
