You Are Being Lied to About Inflation

The underlying problem is not inflation. It’s corporate power. The entire American economy is concentrated into the hands of a few greedy, corporate giants with the power to raise prices.

....even the MSM is covering big oil price gouging.........weird how their own fortunes absolutely skyrocket when oil hits $100+

Reich wrote an editorial about this for the Guardian. I think he is right.

Why did they wait until now to start flexing?

The move to oligopoly has been destructive. When there are few, they maximize profits by eliminating much product improvement and customer service. Look about you and you can see that. The pricing gets the same too. Competition is a boon to the consumer. It encourages innovation and lowers prices. We have essentially eliminated competition in the US.
Years ago service existed. The mantra was the customer is always right. That seems quaint now. You bought it, getting it fixed is your problem. Gpo away.
Does anyone think all oil companies have identical worker loads and expenses? Yet prices are the same and they elevate them at the same time.
Todays Americans have never seen price wars. They are lured to buying things by advertisements. Phone, cable gas and many others are not competing.

do you think your 'safety' and 'licensing' costs have done anything different?????

My safety and licensing costs? Where did I get those?

don't be ignorant. it's a common call for leftists to demand 'licensing' fees to ensure someone 'knows' how to do a certain job............when reality dictates that it's the very thing complained about in the OP........it drives smaller business's out of business.

God you are a dumb motherfucker, as fuel prices rise so do the costs of product and services, you think they haul hat stuff around for free? you think raw materials remain the same price with higher trans costs to move them around. Democrats are stupid motherfuckers!! Products slide up and down in price as with transportation costs.
