Yemen/Morocco/Libya/Egypt/Iran/ Tunisia experience anti -American protests

Yeah, I'll admit I've never traveled where free speech isn't pretty normal. England, Canada, Australia, France... I don't have anything to discredit this with and it is very likely true. I do remember the Russians we translated for when they were here saying things like, "Those people will be arrested later" when they didn't think we could understand them... We were somewhere and they saw people protesting against the treaties lowering the numbers of nukes. Weird. I never ran into any suggestion that I couldn't speak openly in the UK...

More anecdotal ramblings from the dancin' Dalai Damocles?

Whats the difference if the attacks were over a film or to mark the 9-11 anaversuary or if they were simply out of anger.

Who cares what the motavation was, the act was the same, and clearly unjustified.

The devil is in the details brother.

Libya was a much happier and more beautiful place before the invasion.

But then again, so was Iraq.

Tough question: Was the killing morally justifiable?
