Ybor City Shooting, stand your ground mess.

I agree, its not an absolute right, I was making a mockery of those who claim it is.

No it is but the reality is we recognize not everyone is intellectually and emotionally mature enough to exercise some rights so their access is delayed which is why we should let children decide what gender they are. Idiot.

So its not absolute, some limits are appropriate?

This is what happens when so many people carry.

2:45 AM, the bars let out on 7th Avenue, the Tampa nightclub and party strip.

An 22 year old carrying a handgun is walking in the crowd toward his ride home, when he sees a girl he knows from School. He waves at her and the boys with her take exception with his waiving. The girls crew comes over toward Tyrell in an aggressive manner. Tyrell Phillips 22, says he saw one of the group reach into his waistband so he pulled his gun and shot Elijah Wilson 14 dead. Police found a concealed loaded gun on the 14-year-old after he was shot and killed.

The sound of the gunshot in the massive crowd resulted in several people pulling guns and firing.

When the dust settled two people were dead, and 15 others wounded by gunfire.

Police said last week that investigators believe at least two other people opened fire after Phillips shot Wilson twice. Phillips is currently in the Hillsboro County Jail charged with 2nd Degree Murder.

Are you saying blacks should not be allowed to carry a gun if it means lives will be saved?

Lovely. Obviously we need more guns.

Is this like your preferred pronoun? You prefer "limits" fine by me. You should have just started a threat, My stupid absolute right obsession.

Great, I am glad you agree, now how do you decide what limits are Constitutional and what limits are not Constitutional. A strict construction would say there are 0 limits, so I am happy you are not one of those idiots.

No I dont agree because this isn't about whether or not 10 year olds should have guns. You do think everyone is a stupid as you. Is this you playing lawyer in your basement? Establish the validity of limits so then it's only about where you place them. Stfu perry mason

A gun did its job...it saved Tyrell Phillips life!!!!!! FACT!!!! And others this 14 yo would have killed someone

14-year-old with a gun in his waistband out late at night...charge his parents

A gun, like too many other guns including all the guns involved in this incident, was someplace it should not have been to begin with, thanks to the over-availability of guns.

Had the 14 year old and Tyrell and the rest of the trigger pullers in the crowd that night not been able to obtain the guns they carried, none of this would have happened.

You can bet that before too much longer, people will not even be going out in public anymore because it will be too dangerous thanks to all the jackasses carrying guns.

Existing law prohibits carrying a gun in a Bar. So the guy wasn't a law abiding person. An I'm pretty sure the gun toting 14 year old wasn't legal either. And was the 14 year old in a strip club?
