There is a rumor that Trump will move Perry to DHS and tap Manchineel for DOE.

There is good and bad. First it allows newly switched Republican governor in WV to replace Manchin with a conservative and get one vote closer to Trumps agenda.

The bad is that Manchin is a Cap and Trader.

I don't know if this is true, but I hope Trump doesn't do it. Leave Manchin out to dry. He will lose reelection in 2018.

Even though it seems less slimy for Manchin than actually switching parties, I don't see him doing it. The left would turn on him big league

Of course there is no such animal as a "blue dog" conservative democrat....right..err....left? Manchin has already addressed the possibility of a republican caucus in casting his senatorial votes. It appears that the "r" and or "d" holds no weight with an honest person who actually goes to DC to serve the people who hired them.
