Wow, that global warming thang is a real bitch!

You asked what state I live in. I told you. The link you posted showed record high temps in the summer. 70 degrees in February is never 'normal'. I cherry picked nothing.
Can you tell me again, it is very hard to do searches on Tapatalk.

I think you took the "all posts must be in English" way too far. I don't think they meant British English and its accompanying slang.

You learn something new everyday.

Now if you could just learn to accept AGW all will be good.
I do accept there is some warming but nothing to get alarmed over. I am from England if that helps you.

Yet it has happened four times in Chicago since 1976.

Chicago has logged a 70-degree temperature in February four times:

75 on February 27, 1976,
70 on February 11. 1999,
72 on February 25, 2000,
70 on February 18, 2017.

For someone who lives on an island you sure have cavalier attitude about warming. Hope you live on high ground.

I retract my previous objection then and admit to 'muricacentrism. My apologies.

I don't agree with you so I am cavalier, priceless. Let me post the opening statement by MIT Prof. Richard Lindzen, of a lecture by him to the House of Commons in 2012. He is arguably the greatest living atmospheric physicist.

Stated briefly, I will simply try to clarify what the debate over climate change is really about. It most certainly is not about whether climate is changing: it always is. It is not about whether CO2 is increasing: it clearly is. It is not about whether the increase in CO2, by itself, will lead to some warming: it should. The debate is simply over the matter of how much warming the increase in CO2 can lead to, and the connection of such warming to the innumerable claimed catastrophes. The evidence is that the increase in CO2 will lead to very little warming, and that the connection of this minimal warming (or even significant warming) to the purported catastrophes is also minimal. The arguments on which the catastrophic claims are made are extremely weak – and commonly acknowledged as such. They are sometimes overtly dishonest.

NYC has had more snow this year than in the past 130 years.
Hmm, I wonder if that is true?

Don't fuckin care to be blunt. As I have stated before I am beyond trying to convince people. We are living it, Dr. Lindzen notwithstanding. The die is cast and the effects are real now. It is all over but the crying. My only concern is that you live on high ground so you can watch...depending on how old you are that is.

I would think you are smarter than this. I guess not. You do know that what prevents massive snowstorms on the coast is the temperature of the ocean. The warmer the ocean temperature the worse the weather swings from cold to hot and from drought to deluge. New York and east coast of the U.S. is experiencing record snowfalls because the ocean temperature is rising. As the ocean temperature rises world wide coastal areas will experience wider and wider swings of weather.

That is patently untrue as 2016 had more snow, as indeed did 2006 and 1947.

We have always had very weird weather in December and March after a bad hurricane the previous summer.

Wow are you on the wrong, by a lot, page. I wasn't suggesting that CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere were high enough to cause direct damage to humans...awwww fuck it....if you cannot figure it out for yourself then it is a wast of time.

Again I stopped trying to convince assholes a long time ago. So believe what you want to believe. We are in the middle of the 6th Great Extinction and we are on the list. The earth will do just fine without us.

But you believe that too much vitamin C can kill you.

And you sure have the "crying" part, down to an art. :good4u:
