The colour of the American government has changed (why, when the rest of the world has red as the colour of socialism is it adopted by American Nazis parading under the Republican banner) not to mention the colour of the president yet many of the same lies are still being told.
For instance the policy of government by fear. Under Bush there was a bomb strapped terrorist hiding beneath every bridge, at every airport, in every plane and under every bed. Under Obama there aren't quite so many terrorists as there were under bush, although many of those identified by bush might well have been innocent tourists! but now you have the evil Iranians.
Now the Iranians, a warmongering, murderous nation if ever there was one (look back to nice friendly Persia and their wars against the Greeks 500 years before Christ) and certainly not to be trusted are declaring nuclear war against Israel, soon to be a state of the US, and against the uS themselves.
Government of the US would be really difficult without Iran. America would have to fall back onto its homegrown hate figures like anyone who is black or gay or has been to Russia or doesnt own a gun or believes that Japanese cars are better than American cars.
Disaster, you must agree.
America needs Iran.
That might be why the report by Mr. Clinton Bastin, a US nuclear expert (US Dept of Energy ret'd) who visited Iran on a fact finding mission
has received slightly less publicity than America's Smartest Dog and Lady Gaga's latest hat.

There is no weapon threat from Iran's important, fully safeguarded nuclear power and research programs. Sanctions based on false claims of a threat have disrupted Irans economy and Iranians' day to day lives, preclude effective negotiations with Iran to resolve problems and increase world dangers.
The ultimate product of Iran's gas centrifuge facilities would be highly enriched uranium hexafluoride, a gas that cannot be used to make a weapon. Converting the gas to metal, fabricating components and assembling them with high explosives using dangerous and difficult technology that has never been used in Iran would take many years after a diversion of three tons of low enriched uranium gas from fully safeguarded inventories. The resulting weapon, if intended for delivery by missile, would have a yield equivalent to that of a kiloton of conventional high explosives.
Drawings of weapons found in Iran by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors are fakes, prepared by dissidents to harm Iran. Any drawing for a nuclear weapon program would be stored in a top secret vault and never seen by inspectors.
