The economic stimulus bill was supposed to save 900,000-2.3 million jobs. As of October 30, 2009, it saved 640,329 jobs. (The Recovery Board stopped estimating job creation after that.) <<<<good idea

Many critics pointed out that Obama's stimulus package did not succeed because the economy contracted 2.8 percent in 2009.
The Congressional Budget Office had projected ARRA would stimulate GDP growth by 1.4 percent to 3.8 percent that year <<<<that pesky CBO :rofl2:

Again, the results over 8 years are irrefutable: over 3 million jobs created & saved. The stock market tripled, and we were almost back to full employment. The stimulus worked - despite the fierce opposition of most on the right, and dire predictions of what would happen if it passed. The market turned around almost immediately, as did hiring.

You've got nothing. History won't be written by right-wing bloggers.

what 3 million jobs? are you that lost. Wages have stagnated, average yearly salary is stuck in what it was before Obama, and what is a "job" to you?. Millions dropped out of the job market they were in and took lesser existence out of survival mode.

And we havnt even fully felt the disaster on our economy that stupid Obamacare disaster will ring in if we can't get it repealed in time, already too late actually.

I say this about all former presidents. Their term is up, they need to go home. You may find it appropriate now, selectively, but won't when a prez of your liking is openly criticized by a former. It shows low class, every time.

I know, test of class. Class seems to be missing from all our recent presidents. I thought better of GW. I am sad to say I was wrong. But alas, politicians and other creatures, what can you expect?
