I recall many ppl declaring bush the lesser the worst or all time. That still hold true?
Truth is he has accomplished next to nothing, photo op Executive Orders, all of which can be erased with the stroke of a pen by the next President. Zero legislative successes, and nothing but blunder after blunder
You can"t even count the new Justice, that was McConnell's work keeping the position open, what the President did was a gimme, any dimwit could have done that
Yes. Bush knew he was an idiot, and he let Cheney run things. trump isn't intelligent enough to know that he's an idiot, so he stumbles around aimlessly, making decisions based on recent polling....as if he were running a game show.Bush the lesser was not the sharpest tool in the shed at Potus' go, but not an evil, selfish, paranoid, demagogic, misogynist, racist, manipulative, bullying, mean spirited, overconfident narcissist.
I'll take wait and see on the bottom of the barrel trophy after it's over.
The rust belt fell for 'much better insurance, at a fraction of the cost'....and 'we're going to bring the jobs back to this country'.It's the economy stupid.
The working class and Rust Belt voters could care less about poll numbers. We learned that last time, right?
It's going to be 'do you really want to go back to the Obama economy?'. That's going to be a hard sell for democrats.
And if dems retake something. THey will be able to accomplish anything?

Hillary would be nowhere if she hadn't married Bill. She doesn't have a tenth of Bill's political acumen. Democrats were told by me long before the election that Hillary was the wrong candidate at the wrong time.
It is hilarious that the democrat party holds two contradictory beliefs. One is that Hillary was the most qualified candidate in history. Yet they say she was one of the most flawed candidates in history.
You guys willingly ran her. You guys ignored the signs. Now you live with the results

I still put "W" worse than Rump. W, sent us to Iraq needlessly killing over 4000 of Americas volunteer military and countless innocent Iraqi's.
The exact number of American Military killed is in black on my signature line as a reminder of the political cost of electing an inept trust fund baby to the Presidency.
never mind that he verified no WMD's. And set a precedent to what happens to a defiant dictator that oppresses his people for generations and also decides to defy UN resolutions pertaining to Weapons of Mass destruction.
The sacrifice of those "voluntary military" would make you wet your pants if you had a clue, any clue to what they meant to the security of our being. Go be goofy somewhere else but don't use our sacrifice to make one of your sissy political points.
You pantie wearing do nothings can translate the Iraqi war any way you would like until the cows come home, you still look ignorant to the State of affairs as they stood post 9/11.
No such precedent was set. In fact what happened in Iraq is exactly what emboldened Kim of Korea. He, or his people, know there is no political will to commit the same error in Korea, we are not going to send boots over there unless he directly attacks us, and without boots, he can get away with what he is doing.
The American people have a short memory, but not so short that they will allow Rump to pull an Iraq in Korea.
Get over yourself... what happened in Iraq weakened America, not strengthened us.
I still agree with taking out Hussein. I disagree with Congress not declaring war as is their constitutional duty and I disagree with not flattening Iraq. We should have killed as many as possible including civilians. We should have destroyed the place and then just left. It would have been a lesson to all. Same with Afghanistan.

For anyone still in doubt, the lesson from Iraq is this: war is a last resort, and only when there is an immediate threat to homeland security.
We don't go to war when there are other options on the table. We don't go to war to try to "reshape a region." We don't go to war when there is no direct threat to our security.
Iraq was a textbook case of why war should ONLY be a last resort. We went from Cheney's "6 months" to 10+ years. When you go to war, you open a Pandora's Box of possibilities.
