World leaders on 'President Trump'

That's why I'm asking.

Are you unable to articulate an answer?

So you're unable to comprehend the written word!! :eek2:

Are you unable to articulate support for the assertion that was presented, regarding Iran wanting to make Carter look bad??

So, you can't articulate any support for the stated assertion.

Thanks, Thing. Your contributions to the board are always scintillating.

Oh - and here you go:

"The Iranians had a deep hatred of Carter and wanted to deny him this last moment of victory as President."

There are literally hundreds of articles on this if you search online. It's hilarious that you didn't know this.

You do realize or maybe you don't, that everyone one of them is the OPINION of someone else.

Where's the comment from Iran, at the time period, that supports the assertion that the reason it was done, was to make Carter look bad.

LOL!

One post too late, USF. You're losing - badly.

If by losing, you mean that me pointing out your inability to procure support, then I guess that means losing. :dunno:
But this doesn't change the fact that you're unable to provide a single thing, from Iran, during that time period. :good4u:

Nah - it was very well known & accepted fact when it happened. I don't think you're a student of history, or much that is political. You just come here to post emoticons.

Iran isn't going to issue a statement saying "we wanted to stick it to Carter." You don't seem to understand much about how these things work.

Do you think Americans should elect their president based on the views of other world leaders?

No we should do the Opposite of what the world wants. Most of the world either hates us, or resents us, or is envious. They WANT us to have a WEAK leader, so they can advance.

They don't want another strong Reagan type leader. They want us to fail.

So you have no "statement"; but you want to put forth your "assumption" or the "assumptions" of others, as FACT. :good4u: :palm:

Because it was so universally known.

Like I said - hundreds of articles if you search it. The Iranians hated Carter. You call those articles "opinion," but at a certain point, the facts are obvious.

I see you're still terrified to articulate your own position.

I firmly believe that at one time a lot of possible world conflicts were curtailed; because participants were worried about the US getting involved and them getting spanked, good and proper.
The Politicians got involved and after Korea and Vietnam, other countries began to view us as a country that was willing to "compromise" and settle for something less then victory.
It now appears that those with evil intent are no longer worried about being "spanked"; because they are of the opinion that they only have to hold out long enough, for "public opinion" to decide the course.

We need to go into the next conflict with the idea of kicking ass and taking names. Let the Military do what it's trained for and leave the peace conferences and rebuilding to the Politicians to be involved in, after the other guy cries UNCLE.

What's the world going to do, think more harshly about us; because if they do, I don't give a flying fuck.

So they hated Carter but we're ok with Reagan ?
I'm sure they respected Reagan more and knew that their game was over.

You appear to be terrified of being incorrect, only want to rely on the OPINIONS of others, and just can't seem to admit that you aren't able to present a single comment from Iran that supports your ASSUMPTION; but you're of the mindset that if enough people say it's so, then it HAS to be true.
So Sad
Too Bad
Sucks to be you. :D

I'd go so far as to suggest that they were motivated by FEAR of what may happen, if they don't capitulate.

Yes, they wanted no part of payback. They settled for making a fool of Carter (not unlike how they're making an even bigger fool of BO).
Wonder what sort of mea culpa they're putting together for the next prez ...
