Worker fired over protest

That's not what he said. He said that those who don't progress should be taken out back and shot. Now what were you saying about reading comprehension?

And you took him serious? Really?

Dimwit.

Now, a few more points.

Not everyone has the mental capacity, drive, or desire to progress beyond a certain point in the career ladder.

Do you have anything credible to support this?

Many, many more are content while flipping burgers to expand creative ventures. How many famous artists and veritable geniuses have lived a life of poverty?

I know a lot of artists that struggle for their art; so how is arbitrarily raising the minimum wage and the false claims that it will enable one to “live” better going to change their lives?

I haven't seen too many artists working in fast food; I do see a lot in the restaurant business working for tips and making fairly good pay.

This is the problem with conservatives. You have such narrow minds you don't realize that not everyone lives by your ideal.

I hope you comprehended that.

The problem with leftists like you is that your narrow arrogant minds believe that no one can progress without the State’s help and make the equally dimwitted argument that workers are trying to make a living working low paying minimum wage low skilled jobs.

That is simply a lie being used by closed minded arrogant leftists, like you, who think that the State is good; but ironically and hypocritically only if the “deciders” are those of their own ideological persuasion.

I hope you comprehended that.

Listen, fucktoast, you depend on the state everyday to defend you and your precious private property. So please shut your sniffhole.

That's not what he said. He said that those who don't progress should be taken out back and shot. Now what were you saying about reading comprehension?

No, I said some dumbass who has flipped burgers for six years should be. So it would be YOU that has a reading comprehension problem.

Not everyone has the mental capacity, drive, or desire to progress beyond a certain point in the career ladder. Many, many more are content while flipping burgers to expand creative ventures. How many famous artists and veritable geniuses have lived a life of poverty?

1) You are living proof of your point on mental capacity
2) If a person doesn't have the drive or desire to be more than a burger flipper, then they should not whine and cry about what they are paid. They deserve what they get for having no motivation. You would think the very fact that they don't have enough money to do what they need/want to do would be that motivation. But people like you simply make excuses for them and tell us we should just pay them more. That is how failure becomes institutionalized. You reward people for being lazy/unmotivated.

This is the problem with conservatives. You have such narrow minds you don't realize that not everyone lives by your ideal.

It is not a conservative ideal you moron. Or can you point to a time in history, anywhere in the world, where people were told 'hey, don't worry about motivation to work, we will take care of you no matter how lazy/unmotivated/unintelligent you are'. Feel free to point to communism, capitalism, socialism examples.

Listen, fucktoast,

Is that the best you have dimwit?

you depend on the state everyday to defend you and your precious private property.

Wrong again dimwit; I live in a very rich and safe neighborhood and pay the taxes police need to patrol leftist piss-holes infested by losers like you.

So please shut your sniffhole.

Perhaps you should shut yours before you remove any doubt what a brain dead moron you really are. I'm thinking it is way too late for that.

You spend an inordinate amount of time trying to illustrate your painful brand of stupid.

I am quite certain that we could beat these morons over the head over and over with the facts and reality and still they would be too stupid to comprehend it.

This is why I call it the circle of stupidity; where they make a moronic false claim, then when caught in it, jump to the next moronic false claim, eventually circling back to the original moronic false claim.

They really are THAT stupid. There is no gentle way to put it.

So you do depend on the state to defend you and your private property. How am I wrong, ass-taster?

No I do not dimwit; we don't need cops here. How many times must I repeat it before it gets through to your thick empty dullard head?

I am paying for leftists to have the protection they cannot afford living in dilapidated neighborhoods waiting for Uncle Sam to give them a handout.

Moron. I am amused that you think I don’t PAY for any services that I receive. But you’re an idiot of epic proportions who when slapped over and over with the facts, still do not get it.

A dimwitted thread struggling for a purpose. So what's the point pinhead? Companies don't have the right to hire and fire whom they please? Do you think we live in a Marxist State where employers should be dictated to by the State and be forced to hire people they dont want and pay wages they cannot afford to pay?

You think we live in a fascist state in which we are all subjects and slaves of our employers. You're a traitor to your country, loyal to coporations rather than your fellow Americans.

We need a revolution, to sweep away the creeping decadence and selifshness that is rotting our society from it's core. Decadence's name is "conservatism"!

Why is this even an issue? These people have a right to organize to negotiate for their fair share of the economic pie they help to produce. Conversely, employers have a right to charge/pay what the market will bear. Which obviously isn't much for fast food workers.

SF is only half right when he says that these people should consider improving their skill sets and thus their marketability. In order to do that though there has to be the level of public investment in public education so that working class people can learn new and marketable skills that do pay living wages. Which currently is sorely lacking.

In some respects I understand these low wage workers frustration. But these strikes are merely addressing the symptom of their problem and not the root cause of their problem.
