To everyone discussing this issue:
I am a capitalist...and yet I realize that what we Americans are doing with (and to) capitalism here is a super abomination. What we need is a very healthy infusion of socialism into our capitalism or it will turn us into something resembling, but even worse, than a feudal society.
Fact is, capitalism here in America may very soon suck...but first it has to improve substantially, because right now it does not reach the point where it can reasonably be described a sucking. Trump and his policies suck...and the people who continue to support him suck. American capitalism is much, much worse than either of those things right now.
Continue to discuss what is wrong with socialism if you want, but dealing with the problems of American capitalism should be your focus. Socialism has very little chance of harming us, but the disgusting monster we have made of capitalism already IS harming us grievously.
