You got so much wrong, it is hard to know where to begin. Aurora James who designed the dress(and paid any tailors who worked on it) was completely happy with the price she quoted AOC, and AOC paid. There was no court suit, she did not stiff the designer. James was happy with a low price, because she got publicity out of it.

It was a borderline case, because it made sense as a publicity investment, but they recommended that AOC pay an additional $2,733.28. AOC could have turned down the recommendation, but then it might become a real investigation of wrong doing. James did not want the money, but was willing to accept it to keep AOC out of trouble.

It is odd that you bring up claims that someone is a deadbeat. trump is well known for failing to pay vendors.

Someone is a spoiled princess, but not AOC. She had a tipped job, so has some understanding of why not to stiff tipped workers.

trump is famous for not tipping, or tipping bizarrely little. he has failed to pay billions of dollars in bills. And if that was not enough to prove he is a spoiled princess, he demanded to ride in the royal carriage.

Meanwhile, AOC paid the designers bill promptly. When the House Ethics Committee suggested she pay more than the designer wanted, she did that immediately.
