Womens US soccer team shows disrespect to the National Anthem.

Most of the players are from "progressive" states in the NE section of the country. Progressives hate America.
 
They are not trained vocalists.
It's entirely possible that shutting the hell up was more respectful than singing.
Our national anthem is difficult for professionals to sing.

Not sure why they have to play the anthem at sporting events anyway,
but it's pretty common to do so, I guess.
There must have been a reason to institute the tradition.

I very much believe in patriotism,
but the nationalist chauvinism that often accompanies it doesn't necessarily help much.

All the teams play their national anthems at the world cup, the Olympics, etc... if you don't wish to sing the national anthem at least be respectful...put your hand over your heart and don't kneel... when that doesn't happen it's obvious what the intent is... no other country does that..

Always a laugh, the MAGA militia quickly dismisses their Messiah’s attempt to circumvent the Constitution but get spastic cause some here today gone tomorrow athlete doesn’t stand for the national anthem
